Jordan Roof Company, located in Garden Grove, CA, is often thought of as one of the best roofing companies in Orange County, and is a third-generation, family-run roofing business. During 1970-1972, brothers Bill and Steve Jordan, owners and partners in Jordan Roof Company, began working in the “roofing industry”.  During the summers they worked for their father’s roofing distribution company, “Roofing Sales Corporation,” which was located just one-mile south of downtown Los Angeles.

In the beginning, in their teen years, they worked part-time as “Swampers” (loaders on the delivery trucks). Upon graduating high school, they became full-time employees. Both Bill and Steve were promoted to Truck Driver and then Assistant Yard Manager (respectively).  In 1979, Steve became the Credit Manager, and in 1980, Bill was promoted to Yard Manager.

Early on, Bill started working with local roofers who taught him how to install composition shingles. At that time, Bill was a young family-man and needed extra money. At first, he worked only weekends installing the roof shingles, and brother Steve would help from time to time.

In 1981, Bill obtained his roofing contractor’s license, as the lure of owning his own business proved to be too hard to resist. And so, at the young age of 25, he left the protective umbrella of his father’s business and ventured out on his own. Steve joined the newly-formed Jordan Roof Company soon after.  Oh yeah, and who represents the third-generation mentioned above?  Steve’s daughter, Heather (Jordan) Ambrose, and Bill’s daughter, Tracy (Jordan) Flores. Heather is the Office Manager and Tracy handles permits and light clerical duty. Heather has worked for the company for more than 15 years and Tracy for nearly 10 years.

Today, Jordan Roof Company has established itself as one of the leading roofing contractors in the Southern California Region. Services have since expanded and include:
